Mrs. Electra Apostolopoulos was born in London in 1980. She holds a Bachelors degree in Economics & Finance from Brunel University of London and a Masters degree in Risk Management & Insurance from Cass Business School (City University) in London. Electra is a Chartered Insurer (ACII), qualifying in 2004 as a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of London and is also a certified Insurance Broker under the auspicies of the Bank of Greece.

Electra began her career in London as an executive in the Banking sector and thereafter as a Lloyd's Broker and Risk Manager for Aon UK Limited. In 2005 Electra joined the Eurorisk SA team in Greece, and thereafter also set up N. S. Apostolopoulos Insurance Brokers, with Nicolas Apostolopoulos, as the Greek corporate arm of the business specialising in Brown water marine insurance, yacht insurances and Corporate client insurances.

As an Insurance Broker Electra places both Marine and Non-Marine Insurances for various corporate entities (i.e. including the preparation of renewal presentations/ negotiations/ market exercises and claims handling); Clients include traditional blue and brown water Shipping companies (for Hull & Machinery, War, P&I and Cargo) as well as Corporate non-marine specialized entities. In respect of the latter, Electra specializes in Corporate liabilities such as Cyber Insurance, Professional liabilities, Directors & Officers, Crime, Yacht Charterers liabilities and Marine Trades (Contactors / Ship Repairers’ Liability) as well as Corporate Medical policies and high end personal lines insurances. Business is placed both locally in the Greek insurance market but predominantly in the Lloyd's of London market and the European International Insurance market.

In addition to the above, in view of Electra’s focus on Financial Institutions and a wide range of Corporate insurances, she is responsible for wording reviews and assists in the overall report drafting for Mortgagee Banks’ engaged in Ship Finance.

Electra also served as Head of the International Relations Committee as a Board Member of the Hellenic Insurance Brokers Association.

Η κα. Ηλέκτρα Αποστολοπούλου, γεννήθηκε στο Λονδίνο το 1980. Κατέχει πτυχίο "Οικονομικών και Χρηματοοικονομικών" από το Πανεπιστήμιο Brunel του Λονδίνου και μεταπτυχιακό στη «Διαχείριση Κινδύνων και Ασφαλειών» (Risk Management & Insurance) από το Cass Business School του Λονδίνου (μέλος του City University). Είναι πιστοποιημένη Advanced Chartered Insurer και κάτοχος διπλώματος ACII ως μέλος του London Institute of Insurance.

Με πενταετή εργασιακή εμπειρία στο City του Λονδίνου, αρχικά στον Τραπεζικό χώρο και μετέπειτα ως Insurance broker στους Lloyd’s του Λονδίνου, εντάχθηκε στην ομάδα της Eurorisk το 2005. Έκτοτε δουλεύει στην Ελλάδα ως Insurance Broker και σύμβουλος ασφαλίσεων στις Ναυτασφαλίσεις αλλά και στις γενικές επιχειρηματικές ασφάλειες με εξειδίκευση στους ειδικούς κλάδους ασφάλισης (συγκεκριμένα: Ναυτασφαλίσεις/ Αστικές Ευθύνες/ Επαγγελματικές ευθύνες/ Ευθύνες του Δ.Σ./ Ενυπόθηκου Δανειστού/ Cyber κλπ.). Είναι επίσης πιστοποιημένη Μεσίτρια Ασφαλίσεων από την Τράπεζα της Ελλάδος.

Στις εταιρείες «EURORISK SA» και «Ν. Σ. Α. I.K.E.» ως μέτοχος, είναι υπεύθυνη υποστήριξης πελατών επιχειρηματικών/ εμπορικών κινδύνων, εκδόσεως συμβολαίων και ασφαλιστικές εταιρείες και των πελατών και της διαχείρισης ζημιών και απαιτήσεων. Στον Τραπεζικό κλάδο συγκεκριμένα, είναι υπεύθυνη των συμβολαίων ευθύνης Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου και Bankers Blanket Bond, όπως επίσης για τη σύνταξη εκθέσεων για τον έλεγχο ναυτασφαλίσεων (H&M/ IV, War & PI) εκχωρημένων συμβολαίων δανειοληπτών της ενυπόθηκου δανείστριας. Τέλος, συμμετέχει ενεργά στις ανανεώσεις ΜΙΙ και MAPI των Τραπεζών.
